The difference between Vick and thousands of others is just a matter of perception?

Would you let a moose or chicken live with you in your house. Dogs are domesticated animals and when people have one as a pet usually they are like family. I let my dog sleep in my bed, I wouldn't do that with a deer. But I agree with you on the PETA thing.
