What are some low cost ways 2 decorate my walls?

There is almost like nothing on my walls. I nvr really notice how plain and boring my walls are until I take pics in my place. Anyone have any low cost ideas of what to put on my walls or how to decorate them?? Maybe I can make my own art, photo collages-?? Thanks.
