Costume ideas for a long, black choir, dress?

I need some costume ideas, please! I've been brainstorming and searching the internet, but can't really find anything. I'm wanting to make a costume out of my black choir dress. I'm willing to cut it, tear it, paint it, etc. Any costume genres, doesn't matter. Thanks so much!
