Cool, teen room decoration ideas?

How fun for you to be able to decorate your room. If you love color then use it, but just be careful which shade you use. Use a more muted shade of colors you like to keep it looking more adult. If you must have a very bright color, paint one accent wall and keep the others more neutral. Definitely bring in the funky accessories because that is where you can let your personality shine. I would limit those items to smaller accessories and throw pillows because they are easier and cheaper to swap out when your style changes. Keep the big things like your bedding neutral. It's cheaper to change all the color around it than to buy a new bedding set when you want a change. Maybe get a neutral comforter and then buy some fun colored sheets to add some contrast and punch to your bed. IKEA is probably your best bet for finding the cheapest bed and rug. Hope that helps.
